IF THAT HAD BEEN A WHITE PASTOR, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN THROWN OUT OF THE CHURCH. RACISM IS A TWO WAY STREET, I AM VOTING FOR THE PERSON WHO CAN DO THE BEST FOR HIS COUNTRY NOT THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN

I will agree that this type of talk do not help any situation and being a Revered I would expect a more rational voice but everyone has said things like this or you have sat there and listened to it and didn't leave or object to it. hypocrites suck!

It absolutely annoys me that Obama thinks the people of this country believe he never heard Wright say those words in 20 years of attending that church. And a man that is like an Uncle to him?

What do you people have against the 1st amendment of our great Constitution. It does, after all, state that this man ~ a US Marine ~ has the RIGHT to say what he wants... whether you like it or not. Get over yourselves.

And what about all those who listened to those speeches by that good-old-boy Hitler. They stayed with him too.

Quite frankly, I have heard my former pastor say things that disgust me on a few occasions. Not only would I not want to be judged based on what he said - but I also wouldn't leave my church because of it. The Pastor is only ONE part of the church.

Yes, but notice that "Yes" is still winning.

And actually, Obama did a lot better than "yes." He explained that there is more to who we all are and where our country is than our racial fears. That's better than I've seen any other Presidential candidat
