What do you think of Weaver's Cove Energy's latest proposal to develop an offshore berth for the unloading of LNG and the subsequent pumping to its proposed facility along the Taunton River? |
|||
| I think it's a good compromise. We all use energy, don't we? | 23.16% | 85 | |
| This still doesn't address the safety issue of having massive quantities of LNG stored in a residential area. | 22.07% | 81 | |
| We should allow the process to run its course and see what FERC says. | 3.27% | 12 | |
| This isn't the beginning of the end; it's the middle of the end. This is just a half-hearted attempt to salvage some of the millions Weaver's Cove has already spent on this project. | 7.90% | 29 | |
| Weaver's Cove needs to go farther off shore. Far, far away. | 43.60% | 160 | |

Are we more precious than other residents around the world that have LNG facilities? More economic growth is needed but we'll never see it if every attempt for any is constantly discouraged. It's past time for change. New Englanders need to move forward! |

I feel bad for Hess, they should back up there bags and go some other place that will accept them, they were going to cleanup Weaver's Cove and create jobs. Hess move on you can do better elsewhere good luck to you. |

How much did Hess pay David for a yes vote. I would say his education level does not exceed the third grade. Hess probably had to spell YES for him. |

Profit ! is what Hess is all about. They have no concern for the residents of Fall River or it's neighboring communities.They have been told time and time again that they are not welcome here.Why don't they understand. |

We have over 35 families living in a small section of Tiverton that are opposed to any of the plans proposed by the LNG people. We join the thousands of concerned citizens to stop this insanity by Hess to use our area as a means to fill their pockets. |

Met Gordon Shearer once or twice, advised Gordon that he could sell his home in Dover and build right next to the tanks with river views. He just smiled and walked away. The other way is to build the tanks in Dover and pump in from Boston harbor. |

If they propose to put some exotic dancers on the loading platform I think the new mayor will be all for it. |

We have nothing better to do? LNG has 0 accidents? VERY wrong on both counts. Research the half-truths repeatedly spit out by the LNG industry to an unwitting, and often apathetic, public.They love people who don't do their homework. They DON'T love us! |
