My family is the victim of a horrendous case involving CAS (not custody). As another replier stated, recordings offer the truth; there's no heresay, no 'he said, she said', it's all there in black and white. Justice Pugsley should be disbarred.

My family is currently in the middle of a horrendous custody case that C.A.S. jumped into the middle of with no valid reason and took the mother's side, when in fact it was because of something the mother did that C.A.S. got involved in the first place...

This judge should be disbarred. And any judge that goes along with his beliefs or follows his lead should also be disbarred.
We shouldn't forget the lawyers that use the Family Law flaws to line their pockets either!

Recordings offer the truth, hearsay removed and the words are seen verbatum. That posses a problem for a system focused on bias conduct, relying on fact manipulation. Their agenda does'nt recognize 'truth', it becomes a burdensome barrier needing omittion

The judges and lawyers in the family court system should be absolutely ashamed of themselves at what they do to children and their parents. And the politicians ashmed at letting the systematic stripping of peoples assets by the legal profession continue.

I am a victim of family court. I was abused by Judge Dossa and Judge Antifaev at the Provincial Court in Port Coquitlam. I was also abused by my ex-wife and by a few lawyers of both sides. If there is a God that punishes after death, they deserve hell

The best advice a private investigator, a former police officer, gave me was to record everything to protect myself. Had I not taken that advice I would probably be in jail based on what my wife had been planning that I legally intercepted!!!

Honest and truthful persons have little to fear from having their voices recorded.

Along with several highly publicized cases (notably regarding police brutality), there are hundreds of everyday cases where recording has prevented someone from being victimized by the System.
